Stutz

Stutz - A new documentary on Netflix. Jonah Hill, comedian, interviews his therapist, Phil Stutz, after 5 years of therapy.

I found it interesting - particularly as it emphasized the role of the therapeutic relationship itself in moving forward, the necessity of vulnerability in therapy, and a focus on being active vs passive in therapy.

I found the therapist over-disclosure of concern. And I wonder about the value of some of the therapist Tools presented. Then again, these are things that help to make the film entertaining.

Overall, I would say it was worth the watch!

Online reviews (e.g., Rotten Tomatoes) suggest this film would make people more curious about engaging in therapy.
