You are an ambitious person, always planning your next steps and juggling several commitments at once. With that ambition, however, comes a busy schedule and not a lot of time for yourself. Maybe you’re trying to balance work, school, or volunteering. Maybe you’re a parent whose needs often come secondary to those of your kids. Or maybe taking time for yourself feels selfish, even when the time exists. After spending months, years, maybe even decades, moving at a fast pace, you might be feeling run down, tired, or starting to lose motivation for the goals and intentions you had previously set.

This is normal! I’ve been there too. I am prepared to help you find balance and rediscover your passions.

To do this, we will start by clarifying your goals and identifying any potential obstacles that may impact your ability to reach these goals. These may be biological, sociological, or psychological — so we will look at the problem from different perspectives. We will then identify the skills you already possess to overcome these obstacles, as well as add more coping strategies to your toolbox. I will provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space where you can start putting time and energy back into yourself.

  • I am a Registered Psychotherapist through the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

  • I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Queen’s University in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

  • My main therapeutic approaches include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Traumatic Incident Reduction.
