Cassandra Leonardi
B.A., M.A. in Counselling Psychology, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

*Serving Clients in Ontario*

You are self-aware, kind, and resilient. You have dreams and aspirations — for something better. You try to be there for everyone else, family and friends, but then forget to take time for yourself. As a result, you become overwhelmed and anxious and begin to doubt yourself. You may feel you are in quicksand — the more you are misunderstood or disregarded, the deeper you go. Now, life with all of its stressors is challenging you, perhaps pressing down so it feels there is no solution, no relief, and no escape.

Perhaps this describes just a part or even all of you. And this leaves you feeling alone in the moment… in life. I know the feeling. I have been there. Well, I want to present myself as a guide to you. My training, career path, and life experience have brought me to a place where I can help you with the struggles you are facing. I can help you connect with your true selfthe kind, resilient, dreaming for something better selfand help you in your journey.

I will provide a safe space. My response will be calm and empathetic. I present a place where you can you feel comfortable. And I will be an active participant in your journey to health and wellness.

My steps in the therapy process include:

  1. Getting to know you (the inner you!).

  2. Recognition of the changes to be made.

  3. Learning and using new strategies to cope.

  4. Evaluating what is working and changing what does not.

  5. And staying motivated for the end goal!
