Anahita Abtahi Master of Psychology (M.Psy.), Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
You may be someone who feels deeply, loves deeply, and thinks about everything a little more than you wish you did. Maybe you replay conversations, question your choices, struggle to quiet your mind, or find yourself carrying old relationship wounds into new connections. You may long for closeness while also fearing rejection, losing yourself in relationships, people-pleasing, overthinking dating or friendships, or wondering why the same patterns keep finding their way back to you.
Therapy can be a space to gently turn inward and understand yourself with more curiosity and less judgment. I don’t believe my role is to tell you how to live your life. You are the expert on your own experiences. My role is to walk alongside you, help you make sense of the patterns beneath the surface, and support you in discovering what feels authentic, meaningful, and right for you.
Together, we will work toward:
Understanding your patterns - in your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behaviours.
Making sense of what you carry - including anxiety, relational wounds, past experiences, and beliefs about yourself.
Finding what works for you - building practical tools while strengthening your ability to trust your own needs, values, and choices.
I hope therapy can become a place where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to explore, and supported enough to grow into a life and relationships that feel more like your own.

Clinical Background and Interests
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
Master of Psychology (M.Psy.), Adler Graduate Professional School
My clinical background includes individual psychotherapy with adults, psychological assessment, and psychoeducation.
I have a particular interest in supporting adults navigating:
Anxiety, overthinking, and perfectionism
ADHD and executive-functioning challenges
Emotional overwhelm and feeling stuck
Dating, attachment, and relational wounds
Friendship difficulties and loneliness
Breakups, heartbreak, and recurring relationship patterns
Boundaries, people-pleasing, and self-worth
Grief, identity, and life transitions
My approach is warm, collaborative, and integrative, drawing from CBT, ACT, DBT-informed strategies, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed practice. I also value psychoeducation and believe that understanding why we respond the way we do can create space for greater self-compassion and more intentional choices.
I offer therapy in English and Farsi.
I work with individual adults (18-65).
Outside of the therapy room, I am drawn to music, meaningful conversations, travel, new experiences, and the small moments that make life feel connected and alive. I believe much of being human comes back to the same quiet hopes: to love and be loved, to belong, to understand ourselves, and to feel truly understood.
