You enjoy close relationships, set clear goals, and have the drive to achieve. However, sometimes you become disconnected — Disconnected from your relationships and who you want to be. Maybe the disconnect is mild. Or maybe it’s more serious. You have spent months,… or years, striving to connect with your best self. This may be one of those times. You may have a goal but are unsure about how to get there. Perhaps you are struggling with motivation and self doubt, just surviving, hanging on by a thread.

A mental health journey can be intimidating. However, I am here to support you through it. Allowing yourself to be vulnerable not only with professionals but also with yourself, your own thoughts and feelings — is freakin’ scary. I’ve been on this journey, let me help you with yours!

Here is the framework I will use during our work together:

  1. Provide empathetic support for your thoughts, feelings and fears.

  2. Find where changes can be made.

  3. Problem solve ways you can accomplish your goals.

  4. Hold you accountable! (of course with empathy but I’m also not afraid to let you know when you need to dig deep!)

  • I take a holistic modern approach to therapy. My focus is on understanding your needs — rather than strictly following one method and allowing this to shape everything. But if you want to know the details, I use: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Rogerian Positive Psychology and Gestalt… just to name a few!

  • Special focus on empowerment and self-esteem while also working with:

    • ADHD,

    • anxiety,

    • depression,

    • workplace stress,

    • relationships,

    • chronic pain,

    • trauma,

    • anger management,

    • grief,

    • communication,

    • bipolar disorder,

    • OCD,

  • I work with individuals age 15+ and up (late teens and adults).

  • My Interests? Kickboxing, anything cottage related, travel and, well, we can’t forget food!!
