You are a first responder! You are driven, ambitious and want to help people. You are full of life and feel like you make a difference in someone’s life. Suddenly, you find yourself withdrawn, isolated, angry and confused. You struggle to find your way; you are unsure who the person in the mirror looking back at you is and you cannot shake the negative thoughts and feelings you are having. You have heard the rumblings of trauma, PTSD and think, could this be me? What happened to me?

You are not alone! Trauma can present itself in many forms and as a first responder who has experienced unresolved childhood trauma; that one call can change your life. As a previous first responder myself for 18 years, I can relate to horrific calls, frustrating calls and the burn out of the health care and social services systems. It can be difficult and scary to unpack the trauma of childhood and make sense of your present struggles, but I am here to help. With such understanding, my compassion and empathy will create a safe space for you to become vulnerable and express your deepest, darkest thoughts, feelings and stories.

We will connect first, to foster a safe and trusting space. From there, we will begin our journey together; in the hopes for you to grow as a person and become the best version of yourself. We will work through your stuck points, triggers and distorted thoughts.
