You are hard-working and goal-oriented, with hopes and dreams to lead a fulfilling life. You have the motivation and dedication to grow and improve. However, you may have reached a point where you are feeling anxious, low mood or burnt out. You may be experiencing barriers that prevent you from feeling at peace and safe in your life and in your relationships. Perhaps there has been a significant life change, a traumatic incident, or a loss that is difficult to navigate on your own. Whatever the challenge, you may be feeling overwhelmed and lost. Those feelings are scary, and you deserve support.  You are reaching out to grow and heal.

Together we can discover how to prioritize your mental and physical health, create healthy and sustainable relationships, and work through underlying beliefs and experiences that may be impacting your quality of life.

I use a goal-oriented and collaborative approach to address the challenges you are experiencing. We are in this together, as equals. I use evidence-based approaches to work with you to build resiliency, self-esteem, and the skills to overcome life stressors and barriers.

My goal is to create a safe and non-judgemental space for you to share with me and pursue goals. I recognize how much trust it takes to be vulnerable in therapy, and I want to build that trust together. Empathy, compassion, and empowerment are key tenets that ground my practice.

I use the following framework to guide our work together:

  1. Get to know what brings you here, the experiences and identities that have impacted you, and the goals you want to pursue and accomplish.

  2. Explore how to build a relationship with yourself and others based on compassion, kindness and respect.

  3. Begin to take manageable, sustainable steps to pursue your goals.

  4. Learn techniques and strategies to cope with life stressors and overcome challenges you may experience.

  5. Develop sustainable skills and resources to continue your journey with success.

With this framework, we can work toward the progress you deserve to experience.
