*Serving Clients in British Columbia*

You are strong, confident, mindful, and resilient. You see yourself as an optimist, with a can-do attitude, rising to new challenges and difficult tasks. You are able to see different viewpoints. You are willing to take responsibility and be accountable for your actions. You are not a quitter! You endure. You have all the needed resources within you to create the life you aspire to. You are a builder of hope. You value purposeful living, and optimal health and wellbeing.

And so — when you feel heavily burdened by life’s demands you know that you are not functioning at your best. Self care becomes an afterthought, and your energy is zapped. Interpersonal relationships become impaired, as guilt ladens you with missed opportunities. Daily stressors become unbearable and decisions tough to make.

During stressful periods we need to be kind to ourselves in a loving and mindful way; acknowledging the struggle within. This may involve; going for a walk in the park, preparing a healthy snack, reading inspirational and positive material, listening to soothing music, and so on.

I guide clients toward purposeful living based on their personal values. We can be easily distracted by the things we cannot control, leaving us feeling undervalued and second guessing our own self worth. With greater self awareness we can focus on the things that we can control.

I invite you to embark on a transformative journey to achieve mental and emotional well-being. I have extensive education and experience in helping others to achieve lifestyle satisfaction and purposeful living. I offer a safe space to help you navigate life's complexities in a trusting and non-judgemental atmosphere. I will work with you in an environment that is, supportive and validated, while you commit yourself to this process of change.

My greatest reward in life is in helping my clients overcome their struggles, achieve their goals, and reach their potential. I help individuals construct attainable goals in a way that will enable them to make lasting lifestyle changes.

Here is a guided action plan for our work together:

  • First we gather knowledge, build rapport, and establish trust in working together. We will develop a deeper understanding of your concern and how I can help.

  • Next, we will identify personal strengths (i.e., traits that produce positive outcomes) based on your own core values and beliefs.

  • You will be challenged to take small and even big risks to improve your well being and lifestyle. You will step out of your comfort zone with guidance and support. You will gain clarity and an awareness of limitations that have held you back from the life that you aspire to.

  • Each session will provide an opportunity to gain greater strength to envision a future that is possible.
