Your life seems great! You are a high achiever, on a great career path, and have loved ones who support you. You like to plan things out and approach life rationally. However, sometimes it feels like something is missing – you can’t handle the ups and downs of life and get anxious. You may overthink, feel you aren’t good enough, and have a hard time controlling your thoughts and emotions. You may feel responsible for others emotions and their perceptions of you, and your self esteem starts to plummet. Sometimes you ask: What’s the point? What’s the meaning of all of this? It can be really hard to navigate life with all of this brewing under the surface.

This is where I come in – through personal and professional experience, I can help you pull apart what’s going on and get to the root of the issue. In therapy we would explore how to use your strengths to create a meaningful life, one where YOU are behind the wheel, not your emotions, and not other people’s perceptions of who you should be.

Everyones’ struggle and journey is unique – I tailor the therapeutic experience to the individual. Nonetheless, there is a general direction that therapy takes:

  1. Getting to know who you are and what is important to you.

  2. Identify how your struggles and past affects you.

  3. Learn new tools and techniques to cope, as well as to accept what is outside of our control.

  4. Then we practice, learn to manage expectations, and take small steps to get to where you want to be.

If the description above sounds like you and this plan seems like a good fit, I would be very excited for us to work together. Hit the Get Started Now button and ask for Maria to begin!
