You are intelligent, caring, considerate and hard-working. You have the capacity to endure hardship through your resiliency and determination to create the life you desire. However, now, the challenges you are facing have left you questioning everything. Perhaps an unplanned disruption, such as a loss, has jilted you in catastrophic ways, causing you to experience a great deal of suffering and heartbreak. You may be hesitant and feel overwhelmed at the prospect of turning the focus inward.
I too have experienced the unpredictability of life. I get it. Vulnerability is uncomfortable. Based on my experience and training I have learned how to help others move forward. I want you to know that I am deeply committed to offering you a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space to feel heard and understood. Following your pace, I will work alongside you to process, restore and restructure the thoughts and feelings that are no longer serving you.
Here is the game plan:
Building rapport and trust is an integral part of therapy. I will spend time getting to know the inner parts of you to create a framework for your care.
Next, we will clarify your presenting concerns while highlighting your strengths, values, core beliefs and goals. You are the expert of your life; my role is to deepen your understanding and provide support as you move through the discomfort toward peace and healing.
Once we determine a focus and goals, we will create a plan that motivates you, builds on your strengths, and provides you with the tools needed to navigate your challenges with greater confidence and ease.
Each session will create a safe space to discuss progress and setbacks, and will identify any discomfort with the therapeutic framework and adapt and alter if desired. I will remind you to offer yourself compassion and kindness, as those are two pillars upon which I believe growth, self-actualization and healing are formed.
Recent Client Review: “Jessica and I started working together shortly after my break up… That may have been the most significant trauma in my life… I also had issues of lack of self-worth and impulse control and egotistic tendencies … We worked together for three to four months… I gained the tools and resources I needed to handle difficult situations in my life and maintain a positive outlook. She was caring and helpful and always gave me the resources I needed to work on myself. I could not more highly recommend Jessica. …my life has truly changed for the better! “
