*Serving Clients in Ontario*

You desire clarity, direction, and hope! You feel as though life is exhausting, challenging, unfair, and full of pain and loss. Sometimes you feel anxious, depressed, confused, stressed out and you don’t know how to handle it. Maybe you feel lost, at your wits-end, stuck and unsure how to carry on. Maybe you’re looking for a way forward, or skills and tools to help you manage. Maybe you’re hoping to uncover the strengths you already have, to make change in your life, or just someone to lend a non-judgmental ear. You want to create a more meaningful and fulfilling life!

As a psychotherapist, I am empathetic, caring and authentic. I use a non-judgemental, compassionate, collaborative, person-centered approach that puts you in the driver’s seat. I too have been in the client’s seat in a therapy room, and I know how vulnerable and scary it can feel. I strive to provide a space where you feel safe and comfortable, as well as supported, heard and acknowledged. We will work together to determine which tools and techniques fit best for you.

By starting therapy, here is how we will get going:

  1. In the first session – I will spend time getting to know you and what’s going on that brought you into therapy. We will identify what you’re hoping to accomplish so we can be sure that your time in therapy is focused on the actual thing that brought you to this place.

  2. Each session we will work on understanding the problem you are facing in order find new ways to tackle the issue. The purpose is to create a strategy tailored to you that will give you hope and move you forward.

  3. Together we will look at what is working and what is not working so you can notice changes in your perspective, feelings, and relationships (both with yourself and others) to help you live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

I will continue to review your goals and the direction of therapy to make sure the work we are doing together is getting you to where you want to go.
